Unity Middle College High School seeks monetary donations from members of the community in the following areas:

General Support Fund

General fund support will accelerate Unity MCHS’ educational program, facilitate college visits, and maintain the small class size and teacher-to-student ratio at school.

College Textbooks

 Unity MCHS provides a blended high school and college curriculum at zero cost to families.  An average college textbook is $150 per class and Unity will be building a library of required college textbooks for students to check out and use in college courses each semester.  

Creation and Innovation Labs

All Unity MCHS scholars will participate in Creation and Innovation Labs each Friday filled will hands-on and tactile learning experiences.  Unity seeks funding to enhance the hands on

All Unity Middle College students have the opportunity to participate in each of the below after school arts programs. Unity seeks your support to provide each student a comprehensive educational and enrichment experience at Unity

Introduction to Musical Theater

Sing! Dance! Act! This introduction to musical theater, teaches students how to be a ‘triple threat’ – a performer who can sing, dance and act. This high energy, fast-paced class will engage the performers in activities that increase communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Students will learn to build confidence, poise, grace, cooperation and responsibility. Students will learn through vocal exercises, dance steps, theater games, acting exercises, scenes, skits, choreography and songs.

Introduction to Choral Study

This course introduces students to proper vocal training and music theory. The course teaches students how to recognize their own voices, build proper breathing and singing techniques. Students will further study multi-part harmonization and a choral repertoire.

Introduction to Dance

This introductory course is designed to introduce formal dance training through ballet techniques for male and female students. Ballet is the foundation of all dances. It is important for students who wish to further their education in dance to have proper training in ballet. This course teaches students ballet vocabularies, traditional barre and center work.
